H63-844 Epoxy Antifouling Paint

I. Features: 844Epoxy Antifouling Paint is made of Epoxy and cuprous oxide.

II. Purpose: The product is the bilge Antifouling Paint with constant effect, the paint film dips in the weak alkali ocean water and can evenly relieve Cu ion and kill the organism on the bilge. The best antifouling effect exceeds 1 year if the thickness of paint film reaches the requirement when constructing.

IV. Surface Treatment: Sand blast is applicable for making new ships, after the steel plate becomes polished, spraying twice 841 Aluminum Powder Epoxy Asphalt Prime Coat, 742 Iron Chlorinated Rubber Antirust Paint twice, 844Epoxy Antifouling Paint 2-3 times. If the coating film is still under good condition on old ship, remove dirt from it with detergent, flush the loosen materials and salt with pressure fresh water, after drying the surface, apply Antifouling Paint, it is determined through the actual construction requirements if the Seal Prime Coat shall be used or not.

V. Construction Conditions: The surface must be clean and dry, do not construct in rainy season if it is constructed in open air.

VI. Brush Paint: Brush 742 Iron Red Chlorinated Rubber Antirust Paint, or other paint according to requirements or regulations.

Please refer to the paint construction requirements on the time for re-coating and launching water, since the product contains more cuprous oxide, it has high specific gravity, please thoroughly stir the paint before using. Do not add into thinner if it is possible for assuring the thickness of paint film and achieving best antifouling effect.

VIII. Cautions: The product is only applicable for professional purpose. Please strictly follow relative safety laws and regulations when transporting and storing the product. Prevent inhaling solvent or paint fog when constructing, skin and eyes shall not contact this product. Provide powerful ventilation if it is constructed in narrow space or poor ventilated space. It requires to wear protection mask and take effective measures for preventing fire and explosion even though it has favorable ventilation.
